Comments about Marmot Furnace Fleece Jacket - Women's - 2011 Closeout:
I'm 5'1", about 107 lbs., and the XS feels perfect on me. Granted, I'm small-chested, so I'd gather that anyone above a C/D would find the fit rather snug. I do like that I can snug up the bottom to prevent some cold from sneaking in, but then again, it is not a long jacket and will allow for cold air entry, regardless of cinching. It's fitted and flattering so that if I chose to wear it during activities such as climbing or running, it won't feel sloppy and get in my way. I do wish it had an internal pocket or an additional pocket on the sleeve/back/chest because I sometimes like to reserve the waist pockets for my hands only; I also like multiple pockets to distribute what I may be carrying. For me, zippers are always great, especially with casual/sports wear, preventing me from losing items. All in all, a simple and sweet jacket for everyday wear that can also translate into a competent layer for workouts. Not really wind-resistant, but cozy.
