Comments about Marmot Never Summer +0 Sleeping Bag - 2011 Closeout:

Picked up this bag on the REI outlet for about $215. Its a great buy at that price.

Wanted a mid range down suitable for 95% of winter camping and thats what I got in this bag. Recently used it at 5 degrees and I was comfortable without a 4 season tent.

In terms of backpacking I can get this down to about the size of a volleyball with a compression sack and to drop any weight you would have to move up to a bag well over $300.

The zippers are fairly smooth but the shell is not tear proof so you do have to be a bit cautious. This model does not have the Precip membrane but it handled a fair amount of condensation no problem.

If you find yourself debating this bag at a good price, then stop. Just buy it.
