I live in Florida and paddle this craft near the Cape Coral area in many areas. Calm waters and the gulf. Been in some fixes and this boat handled extremely well. Also, I never wear a skirt because I never get any amount of water in the kayak. You won't be sorry with this model for the money. I wish I had another one in Massachusetts for the summertime. I could write advertisements for this craft. I love it!
