      Wear this walking the dogs 3 miles every day. It is very warm when zipped, Hardly know you have it on. pockets lined with warm feeling soft fabric great hand warming and I love the two net pockets on the INSIDE. Great for phone and wallet.

        I have two of these vests - one for working around the ranch and the other I keep clean for casual wear when headed out. They have proven durable, lightweight, and quite warm. The length is perfect and the fit is flattering. I love that the neckline is high to keep my neck warm even when my hair is up in a ponytail. Just the perfect amount of warmth. I haven't found anything I don't like about the vest.

          After in store and trying all different vests from REI, North Face to Mountain Hardgear the REI vest won me over. I felt it was the most flattering cut, with the seams, and a perfect puffiness to the vest that didn't make it too puffy nor too slim. It cost the least $ too which didn't hurt.
          I bought the purple color which is a really nice muted dark-ish purple, it doesn't scream purple it simply states, puurple. Hope that makes sense, I really love the color.
          The vest is down filled so a little extra care needs to be done when washing and drying which is a pain but I find the warmth makes it worth it. The zipper has not caught and also with the pocket zippers. The pockets have a very nice warm lining in there which feels very good next to the hands. Overall I really love this vest.
