Comments about UCLEAR HBC 130 Bicycle Helmet Communicator:
My wife and I bought a pair to use for the intercom function. We ride tandem and I have a hard time hearing her (I have a slight hearing problem). Any speed over 17 MPH with a wind caused so much wind noise that they were unusable as intercoms. As an MP3 player they worked great, but we wanted a wireless/boomless intercom system. We contact uClear and they sent new mics, but they made no difference.
I found that removing the ear buds and just putting the speaker tube in my ear solved much of the wind noise, but it did not help with the intercoms. That wind noise is from the wireless mic.
If you want to use these just as a MP3 player, they would be great. I enjoyed them on my many solo bike rides, once I solved the wind noise by removing the ear bud.
But for an intercom system, I rate this as unacceptable. Thanks uClear for giving it a try to make this correct. Outstanding customer service.

Comments about UCLEAR HBC 130 Bicycle Helmet Communicator:
Attempted to listen to morning news in one ear while commuting to work.
I really want to like this thing. Despite multiple remounts to get it to fit in a more convenient place, I just can't get it there. And that's just the helmet mount.
The tubes that connect to the earpieces generate so much wind noise, it's impossible to hear anything coming through. Have tried multiple methods of wearing these, and each time the roar the tubes generate just gets louder.
I honestly believe that prolonged use of these things would cause hearing damage, even if no audio is played through them. The tubes make that much noise.
It's a cool idea, but the reality is that the design defeats the intended purpose.
