The Mountainsmith Day Recycled waistpack is meant for the waist, but easily converts to a shoulder bag with a single shoulder strap.

The Mountainsmith Day Recycled waistpack body uses fabric made from recycled PET (plastic soda bottles) and offers the same strength and durability of standard polyester
Delta Compression System of triangulated straps connects to hipbelt and pulls weight into the lumbar area for a stable, evenly distributed load
Top-loading main compartment, exterior zippered pocket and small interior pocket organize gear; nylon mesh side pouches accommodate your water bottles
Webbing loops and lash points let you attach accessories to the pack or strap the pack to a full-size Mountainsmith backpack for extra volume
Includes a padded and removable shoulder strap for easy toting and dual carry handles for use as a briefcase
Bright yellow lining adds visibility to contents of pack
Bungee cord and bottom compression straps stabilize the load and secure an extra layer or other gear
Hipbelt tucks away for convenient carrying
Fits waist/hips up to 45 in.

I use this pack as my briefcase during the week and essentials bag off hours, both on and off my bike. Good capacity, but no change of clothes. Sleeve for 10" tablet/notebook is a great feature. Dual waterbottle holders are my favorite feature. Would like pencil/phone organizer panel. Small inside pouch pocket is still too large for organizing small items. Really happy about recycled content.
