The Marin Terra Linda women's bike provides a fun ride and a comfortable upright position, making it great for getting around town, maintaining fitness or training for your first century.

Hydroformed, triple-butted 6061 aluminum frame features sporty road bike geometry that's designed specifically for women
Upright positioning reduces strain on the hands, wrists and shoulders, and increases the rider's field of view
Carbon fiber fork helps lighten the bike while also reducing high-frequency road vibrations traveling up the fork and into your hands
Truvativ Touro 3.0 52/42/30 crankset and an 8-speed, 12-25 cassette provide 24 gears for handling everything from climbs to sprints
Shimano shifters and derailleurs move you smoothly from gear to gear
Linear-pull brakes are forged for strength and power modulated for controlled response
Double-wall rims and Kenda Road 700x28c road tires provide a sporty ride while withstanding the usual hard-surface abuse

After its initial break-in period you might notice your bicycle performing less responsively than the day you brought it home. Not to worry, this is typical of all new bicycles and simply reflects that cables have stretched or their housings have seated themselves into final position. To keep running at peak performance, all REI bicycles come with a FREE warranty tune-up, which should be accomplished between the first 100-200 miles of riding or after the first two months if you're accumulating miles less quickly. Contact your nearest REI bike shop for details and an appointment for this important service.
