    I got these wheels about a year ago along with new forks and disk brake upgrade for my mountain bike turned commuter project. So far I'm very happy with them. I have smoother street oriented tires and can coast down a hill passing hipsters on their vintage 10-speeds all day. They really provided a much smoother, firmer and much faster ride over the stock wheels that were still in decent shape. I haven't gotten too off-road with them but I have taken them on a few trail rides on very rocky trails using on-road tires and I've only had to have them trued once, which was expected after a few months of break-in when they were new.

    Now for the only downside I've encountered.. To run 6-bolt disk brakes, there is a screw on center ring that screws over a large threaded part of the hub. Instead of having 6 bolts, there are 6 posts and the threaded ring sandwiches the disk onto the posts. Before tightening it all down, there the smallest amount of play where the posts were slightly smaller than the holes they went into. this eventually worked the disk loose while riding. Trying to retighten was a real pain, since no one seemed to know what tool fit the adapter ring. I ended up finding a bottom bracket tool, reinstalled with locktite rather than grease, and haven't had a problem since.

    These seemed to be the best quality, lightest weight wheels I could find in the price range without jumping over $400, and I'd highly recommend them if you're looking for a noticable upgrade over stock components without paying the price of a new bike.

      I was having issues with the wheels and hubs that came with my bike when I purchased it and finally decided to upgrade. I wasn't looking to spend a fortune as I was also looking to upgrade my front fork. I couldn't find anything better for the money and have been pleasently surprised. These wheels are fairly light and have a really good look after peeling off all the stickers. I feel good control and these are holding up well after a few hard rides.
