The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Black Diamond Siren Climbing Harness - Women's:
Bought this harness for my 14 year old gymnast daughter for weekend climbing. She is skinny but has large muscular thighs from all of her gymnastics so we had a hard time finding a harness that would be small enough for her waist but have large enough leg loops for her thighs. She is right above the minimum adjustments for this harness so it should fit her for years. She really likes the bright colors of the harness and says that it is very comfortable.

Comments about Black Diamond Siren Climbing Harness - Women's:
I bought this harness with my annual dividend. My 7.5-year-old daughter had just started climbing seriously at the local climbing gym and it cost $5 to rent a harness each time; buying a harness would quickly pay for itself, we realized, and we set out to choose between the young kids' harness (full body, goes over the shoulders in case the kid dips upside down on a fall) vs. this XS harness. Very conscious of safety, we chose this one for now and for her future, and it has proven safe, secure (we cinch the waist and leg straps tightly), and easy to get in and out of. She goes to climbing camp this summer!

Comments about Black Diamond Siren Climbing Harness - Women's:
Last week I went to a rock climbing gym with my sister and took a beginner class and absolutely fell in love with it. That night I was at home looking up harnesses and other gear already! I saw this harness and was immediately sold by the big bright colors. I read a bit more and saw it was a good indoor harness. I made my decision to buy it the next day.
This harness is pretty good! (I have nothing else to compare it to though.) it fits well around the waist and the straps around the legs are easy to adjust. My only dislike about it is sometimes the straps dig into my thighs more than I'd like (when belaying/coming down from a climb). Other than that it's pretty good for a first time climber!

Comments about Black Diamond Siren Climbing Harness - Women's:
This is a great lightweight harness - my two locking biners and ATC weigh more than this! I've been using this both indoors and outdoors on top rope and cleaning lead climbs and it's held up pretty well for what I need it to do. The leg loops are in a great spot for me and the loops are easy to adjust with one hand.
Compared to the other standard black diamond women's harness, this one sat more comfortably on my waist. Because the padding is thinner, it doesn't feel as stiff or as awkward. As a result, it compresses really nicely for the pack. I keep it tucked into either the top pouch of my day pack or in my climbing helmet when we're hiking up the approaches.
My only complaint, and it's a minor one, is that there is no chalk loop. It's an easy fix to just have the chalk bag on a loop of webbing around your waist, or clip it to the grey spacer on the side loops.

Comments about Black Diamond Siren Climbing Harness - Women's:
I climb maybe 4 or 5 times a week indoors, the Siren Harness is extremely comfortable, leg loops especially, and it also doesn't hurt that the color is fun and flamboyant. The only thing I don't like is that I can't use a carabiner to attach on my chalk bag where I'd like for it to be. There are only loops on the right and left side, but not directly in the back.
I haven't been able to go outdoor climbing yet, so I can't rate it on that particular subject, however I can only assume that it would work great for the outdoors. This is definitely the perfect women's harness for lead climbing too.
