The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Cannondale Teramo Bike Helmet:
I purchased another helmet around the same price point and it seemd to press my temples slightly. This one fits absolutely PERFECT. The straps are EZ to adjust feels very comfortable. (Looks cool too.)

Comments about Cannondale Teramo Bike Helmet:
The Bell and Giros were too narrow for my head. I took a chance with this Cannondale helmet and am extremely happy with the fit.

Comments about Cannondale Teramo Bike Helmet:
Had a crash one month after purchase and the helmet did its job. It was not a direct head impact, but I rolled as I hit the pavement at 25 mph. The back of the helmet was damaged, indicating I must have hit my head, but I don't remember having done so. I bet I would have if I didn't have the helmet on!
Pros:
-light
-looked good
-good ventilation
Cons:
-My hair would get stuck to velcro (weird)
-Couldn't find a crash replacement policy

Comments about Cannondale Teramo Bike Helmet:
This helmet is an excellent and comfortable fit. It is durable and stylish. I purchased the red/black helmet which is a perfect complement to my red & white Cannondale Synapse Carbon 5 105 bike (a.k.a. "Peppermint Patti"). It is very light and sturdy. Airflow/vents are excellent. Worth the purchase price! Love it!

Comments about Cannondale Teramo Bike Helmet:
I commute to work. Not a long commute, generally between 3-5 miles depending on the route I take. But lately it's been really hot.
The big vents on this helmet are really great for these hot days because I can feel the wind blowing through them and cooling me. On cooler mornings I have a little skull cap that I throw on underneath this. The clickable adjustment system on the back works great to easily adjust the fit.
The one knock I would have on this helmet is that it definitely leaves an imprint on my forehead from where the pads rest, but I guess that's a sign of a snug fit... which I would imagine is a good thing.

Comments about Cannondale Teramo Bike Helmet:
I would suggest having your head sized (REI staff happily does it for you)before you purchase. I was surprised that I required the larger helmet size offered.
The intitial fit was a bit strange. It seemed short front to back and too wide side to side. Following fit instructions will alleviate most of that. It is imperative to adjust straps correctly for the best fit. The crank adjustment in the back makes it easy to change from "bare head" to "thin cap" when riding in warmer/colder weather.
It still feels quite different than other helmets I have been used to. While it did feel strange at first, it was not even noticable on my head even during 60 mile rides. It feels snug and comfortable. I think I have come to the conclusion, all my previous helmets were not fitted correctly. :)
It looks pretty good too!
Overall I would say this is a good buy.

Purchased at my LBS for a good discount, but it is certainly worth every penny for the great fit and airy ventilation.

Comments about Cannondale Teramo Bike Helmet:
I first found this helmet when looking for a new one for my wife. I looked at Bell and Giro but then saw the Teramo in the store. It had styling I knew she'd like and a nice low-profile, aero design with massive air vents. I thought the strap system and rear head adjustment were better designed than the normal brands of helmets (We've both had both Bell and Giro).
Well, she loves hers and even went and bought one for me. I just did a 100-miler to San Diego and forgot I was even wearing a helmet--it was that cool, light and comfy. I'm so glad I broke with buying the usual brands. I still have a Bell Array that's been relegated to MTB XC riding and I'm tempted to buy a black Teramo to replace it. Lastly, don't let the S/M and L/XL sizing throw you as the size adjustment is so nice that you can dial it in perfectly. That is, a small head won't be swimming in the S/M size.

Comments about Cannondale Teramo Bike Helmet:
I ride a few hundred miles a week in Colorado but am relatively new to cycling as I have only been doing it for two years. As I was looking to upgrade most of my equipment I was shocked at how pricey most of the higher end helmets were. I was originally looking at a Specialized S-Works helmet but it is over $230! After watching the video for this Canondale and comparing the specs I took a chance and ordered it. I am glad I did! While not down to the ounce weight of the S-works for half the price I believe I have a very similar helmet. It is light weight, well ventilated and fits great (not to mention looks great as well). All in all very happy with the purchase.
