Comments about evolv Defy Lace Rock Shoes:
A pretty solid pair of rock shoes. Break in very quickly, esp. for synthetics. Not as flexible as I'd like but it'll come with time, hopefully.

Comments about evolv Defy Lace Rock Shoes:
I use these shoes mostly indoor, though occasionally outside on schist and granite. The sticky rubber along with the flexible shoe makes this great for smearing and any and all face climbs. The laces are great for adjusting the fit for a long day at the crag. Like all Defy shoes, though, they do stink after a while, so make sure you buy some deodorizing stuff. Man, I really thought Evolv would deal with the smell issue after the last ones. Oh well, I would rather climb well than smell good, and these shoes help with just that.
