Comments about Mammut Infinity COATINGfinish superDRY 9.5mm x 60m Dry Rope:
I've used a lot of different ropes, but this is the first I've owned. My friend has the same rope, which inspired me to buy it. It handles great in all aspects and I constantly get people asking what type of rope it is. It is fairly lightweight (at 60m) and seems pretty durable. I have not taken any serious whippers on it, but done a lot of trad and sport climbing with it. Very happy with my purchase and will probably buy another one when it wears out.
My only problem with it is the middle markers. Two thick black lines that get harder to see as the rope gets dirty. Ideally this rope would have a bi-weave pattern instead, but I can't really fault it as the double lines are pretty standard. Just makes me want to keep my rope clean.

Comments about Mammut Infinity COATINGfinish superDRY 9.5mm x 60m Dry Rope:
very little rope drag, works perfectly with a grigri2 and light enough that you hardly notice it. Clipping at the higher heights is far superior with this rope!

Comments about Mammut Infinity COATINGfinish superDRY 9.5mm x 60m Dry Rope:
I have the 70m version of this rope and love it so far. I took it on a week long trip to The Red, KY recently and it was awesome.
It wasn't burdensome to carry to the crag.
I only felt like it was getting heavier when I was 80+ft in the air (and was near done anyways)
I had it in a bag with a tarp, but it stayed clean as far as I could tell... it hit the dirt when we pulled it from the anchors.
Thin but not so thin that im worried about projecting climbs on it (like i would be with a 9.2 or thinner)
Feeds through my grigri2 like butter. -- Did catch a little on lead belay on my friends BD biner and an ATC...but seemed fine with my petzl william ad and an atc...
Didn't take any whippers.
Didn't see any wear (And shouldnt have... since we didnt stress the rope at all and it was the first time out with the rope)
But all that said, first impression is that the rope is awesome and I would recommend it to anyone.

Comments about Mammut Infinity COATINGfinish superDRY 9.5mm x 60m Dry Rope:
This rope is a perfect all-arounder. It's thin, but not TOO thin. So it's light, but isn't difficult to belay with, and doesn't wear out quickly. A major perk of this rope is that it stays supple with age. I've had many Infinity 9.5 ropes, and they've never, ever gotten any weird thick or thin spots, or worn strangely. Obviously, they do wear out eventually - but in a very predictable, visible way. Everyone who belays with it comments about how nice it feels...
