Rated4out of5byGeoChuckfromPut it on and it fit right away. The helmet was easily adjustable. It fit well when I first put it on, and as the temperature dropped and I put my stocking cap on, it was easily readjusted for a perfect fit. The sliding vent covers on the side added to the warmth.

Rated4out of5byscotticusfromGood stuffGreat adjustability. I was originally going to buy the BD Half Dome helmet but that one actually felt uncomfortable when I tried it on, so I decided to spend a bit more money. I don't really notice this one when I'm wearing it, so that's good.

Rated4out of5byNEBradofromFunctional, light, and good fitUsed for a climb up Mt. Ranier. Very comfortable, good fit, nicely adjustable when putting a hat underneath. Could use a few additional vents for airflow. There newer designed helmets are lighter and better vented but this continues to be a solid product for the price.

Rated4out of5byMark from MplsfromVery Cool and ComfortableI own an Ecrin Roc and a BD half dome, and they are both hot and uncomfortable on warm sunny days. Seeking a more comfortable helmet, I recently purchased an Elios. I just used it climbing at Red Rocks in Nevada on 90 deg F days, and it was very cool and comfortable. I was really pleasantly surprised!

Rated4out of5byclimbmnfromGood HelmetPicked this up with my dividend and can't complain so far. It's comfortable and adjustable enough to fit all my climbing needs. I can't comment on how durable it is, as I have only had it for about a month.
Obviously there are other helmets out there that are either lighter or cheaper. For my money, though, this is a really good middle ground. This one is for those that want a comfortable helmet that don't want to shell out more than $100.

Rated4out of5bySly OfromWorks as expected and no moreWorks fine, easy adjustable.
Maybe, it's not intended use but I tried to wear it on a baseball cap on a very sunny day.
Lower adjustable strap was a littttle to small to close properly.
Also, even after some use it's hard to find/use opening/closing clip.
I'm going to use the helmet for light mountaineering outings like mt. Baker or mt. Rainier.
The above inconveniences might not be an issue for rock climbing only.

Rated3out of5byronfishfromPetzl Elios Climbing HelmetThe helmet straps have a nice design and expand and store nicely. This was a size large helmet, but is still tighter that I would like it. Another half-size would make it perfect.
