The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about GSI Outdoors Pinnacle Camper Cookset:
I have several GSI Pinnacle products and love them all. My son (a boy scout) has the same set and one pot has only one minor scratch after four years. So far the new set shows every indication of lasting for many years like the other GSI Pinnacle products I have. The bugaboo procuts we own have not held up as well as the Pinnacle, so go ahead and spend the extra money, you won't regret it. The great non-stick makes cleanup a breeze.

Comments about GSI Outdoors Pinnacle Camper Cookset:
This is a great cook set for car camping. The pots and pan are big enough for cooking for several people, cook evenly and are durable. I also really like that all the pots, pan, cups, plates and bowls fit together. The wash basin is really convenient too. Its a bit heavy and large for back packing in my opinion.

Comments about GSI Outdoors Pinnacle Camper Cookset:
We used this on a canoe camping trip. We are a family of 4. It was convenient having everything in the pack. But if we were going to carry these backpacking we would divide it between packs. Or leave a pot behind. A little heavy for one person to carry. Has a little too much cookware for just a family of 4 unless you are really cooking several things. Since we usually make 1 pot dishes it was over kill. But we let other people in the camp borrow the extra pot and pan for their food. It would be great where weight does not matter. And if you are really cooking alot of food. Loved the fact that it had four of everything. Minus utensils. Also loved the nonstick coating. Nothing stuck.

Comments about GSI Outdoors Pinnacle Camper Cookset:
Picked this set up in preparation for a summer of frequent car camping. Our kids are now 1 and 3, and our old camping/backpacking routines and gear need adjustment to accomodate the youngsters.
First off, it's very cool. The fact that everything nests together and has its own place makes for a very compact setup. The color coding is great for differentiating who's who (especially with kids).
The quality seems very high. The Teflon coating on the pots seems durable, and the mugs did a good job insulating coffee. Heat transfer on the pots is quick, and the plastic lids fit snugly without overheating or melting. The interchangeable pot gripper worked well intuitively.
My only complaints are superficial. Although this set includes plates, bowls, cups and cookware for a group of four, it does not come with cutlery (even though other GSI sets like the Dualist do). It seems as though you could fit GSI's telescoping sporks into one of the mugs like the pot gripper, and they're color-coded like the rest. That's a later addition. I also felt that the neoprene sleeves on the mugs took forever to dry after washing, which made for a delay in packing/breaking camp. Finally, the nesting lids/fry pan don't always sit together perfectly, which requires a few tries to get it lined up and strapped.
I didn't use the carry case as a wash sink yet, so I can't vouch for its usefulness or waterproofing. But all-in-all, this is a very cool product that makes cooking and eating for a group of four enjoyable. It's not extremely lightweight, but I wouldn't hesitate to bring this set backpacking with a larger group. And for car-camping it's extremely handy.

Great for backpacking or car camping. We used it on a primus backpacking stove and over the fire. Worked great either way. My friends who we do all our outdoor adventures with also purchased this set was extremely pleased as well. Highly recommend!
