The fully integrated, self-contained GSI Pinnacle Dualist Ultralight cookset gives 2 backpackers the lightweight essentials for backcountry dining.

Kit includes a hard-anodized 1.8 liter pot with strainer lid, 2 insulated mugs with lids, 2 bowls, 2 telescoping foons, a welded sink and a stove bag
Mugs nest securely inside the bowls, which in turn nest within the pot; color-coded mugs and bowls prevent mix-ups
Insulated mugs have a low center of gravity and include lids with Sip-It openings that virtually eliminate spills
Ultralight backpacking stove and 220g isobutane fuel canister (both sold separately) can also nest within for a complete and compact cooking system

When I first found this, I was impressed that it had everything we needed. My wife and I were making sure that we were prepared. I still can't believe that GSI is the only company that comes close to combining so many items in such a small space, and still leaves room for the canister. They even put indentations on the cups and bowls in 1/2 cup increments. Perfect for measuring water for the freeze dried meals. We've used the set multiple times now. If we ever go minimalist, this kit will be a must.

We tested this set out on a week-long hike through the Grand Canyon. It packs up great and washes easy. The anodized pot is not to be forgotten, nothing sticks! We love being able to pack our whole cookset up as a self-contained unit. We never had to hunt for lids or spoons. My only con is that I felt like the spoons could be a bit more sturdy. If you dig in too hard they bend and could break.

I bought this set about 5 years ago and have used it maybe 2 weeks out of the year since. It has withstood the test of time.

The insulated bowls are darn durable
fits together into a really compact size
the lids double as a strainer

the handle comes undone on occasion
the lid strainer holes are too small. had to drill larger holes to avoid being scalded.

overall, highly recommended
