Service at the REI Store was fantastic.
Sales staff was helpful and they even installed my clips on the bottom of the shoe - used for a Spin Class the next day.
Shoes are comfortable and easy to use.

I found the shoe ran very large for the size chart. I wear a size 8.5 and so using the chart ordered a 41, which was way too large, I have a 39 and am very pleased with that

These are my first pair of bike shoes. I got them to go with my CrankBrother Candy 2 pedals. They work together great. The shoe itself is pretty comfortable. I have a slightly wider foot and haven't had any real problems. I do have to wear a very thin sock with them, as opposed to my usual smartwools. I get a hot spot by my pinky toe with the thicker spot. But I bought some thinner socks and didn't have any problem. I usually wear a 10.5/11 in women's and got a 43. I have just enough room at the toe. The cleats were easy to install and the velcro closures are easy to adjust.

I finally broke down and bought some cycling shoes. It was the best decision I ever made! I don't know how I spun without them. I went into the store. The sales associate was extremely knowledgeable. Based on my shoe size, foot shape, experience, and goals, he brought me out a few pairs. He was right on. Both pair of shoes fit, but these Shimanos felt like a second skin. He helped me chose clips and directed me over to the Repairs area of the store. Within 20 minutes of walking into the stores, I was ready to go! I've had them about two weeks ago/8 spin classes and I'm in love. I have noticed a dramatic different in my position and in the way I use my muscles.

I highly recommend these shoes. The quality it great and the price is great. They are very breathable and very comfortable. I have slightly wider feet (not to the point where I buy wide shoes, but sometimes they don't fit in strappy sandals, etc...maybe curvy feet is a better term for my feet) and they fit perfectly. Definitely don't pass over these shoes when you are in the market!

Went to the REI store in SoHo, NY - sales person was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in what I was looking for, as well as my price range. Being new to cleats, he also explained the differences, pros/cons which helped in my decision. Everyone who I encountered who works at this store were friendly, personable and exhibit great customer service qualities.

The shoe itself is very comfortable, breathes very well, light weight (easy to carry in a gym bag) and easy to walk in, especially when walking through the gym. The primary use of the shoes will be for Spin classes however were bought with the intention of installing clips on my road bike. I found the shoes very easy to clip in, and immediately noticed a difference with the leg muscles as my feet were finally stationery. My calves did ache a bit after the first use however lessened as I continued to use. For those who are serious about Spin I highly recommend investing in a cycling shoes, whether it be the Shimano or another brand - it really makes a difference in your workout.
