The warm and tough Outdoor Research Alti gloves excel at technical climbing in frigid temperatures. The shells are waterproof and insulated, and the reinforced palms stand up to friction from ropes.

Alti gloves feature waterproof, breathable Gore-Tex® inserts and integrated, removable liner gloves for maximum comfort and versatility
Soft-shell stretch fabric on the back of the hand allows for flexible movements; ripstop nylon shells withstand harsh use in the outdoors
Non-bulky PrimaLoft® One insulation in both the shell gloves and integrated liner gloves ensures fingers stay warm in frigid temperatures
Smooth tricot shell lining wicks moisture and adds warmth to the glove system
Alti gloves have a target comfort range from -20°F - 10°F

Very well-made piece of gear. Tend to run on the small side. I ended up taking them back because every time I pulled my hands out of them the liner would pull out from the shell and the fingers would turn inside out. Very annoying and hard to get all back in place. I returned them and got the warmer OR AltiMitts and have been very happy with them

I live in Alaska. You have to have some warm gloves if you want to ride around on snowmobiles. These gloves did good compared to others I've tested. But they still got a bit chilly.
