      I got these poles because I was tired of my old poles' twist lock system failing on every hike. I looked for a flick lock type system on several brands, and finally found these. I was particularly looking for a pair that is really compact when not in use, and these can easily be attached to a pack. The foam grip and strap are very comfortable. Plus, they're purple!
