The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Leki Wanderfreund Antishock Walking Staff:
Find the walking stick more ergonomically comfortable than a regular cane, with perfect height adjustment ease. The handle fits the palm of my hand and doesn't aggravate my tendonitis. It is lightweight and easily collapses to stow for travel on airlines, etc. but sturdy and safe.

Comments about Leki Wanderfreund Antishock Walking Staff:
I am disabled and need to lean on poles for support.
They are indispensable auxiliary legs. My old pair had cork handles and were much more comfortable. The new ones have hard handles that press into my palms. My hands soon go numb. Leki is the only company that makes cane-handled trekking poles, so I have no other choice. Otherwise they have good shock absorption and would be fine for normal hikers.

Bought this for my elderly mother to use to provide some stability for everyday walking. It is perfect as it is easy to hold, light weight, and provides excellent stability. It gets her out and about much more as she can walk with more confidence and security.

Comments about Leki Wanderfreund Antishock Walking Staff:
I bought this one as a gift, but I have one of my own I purchased a few years ago. This one is several inches taller than my own stick, which is great. I would love one even a bit taller, but mine is workable and this one is better. Lightweight, easy to carry, very durable and comfortable.

Comments about Leki Wanderfreund Antishock Walking Staff:
I actually purchased this cane for my elderly mother in-law to use as a cane. Although it is meant for hiking, it is the cane for the elderly. It is strong, lightweight and easily adjustable. Health care store canes are terrible. They are heavy, clunky and the old fashioned adjustment holes are stupid! One added plus is the rubber tip with a metal insert in the bottom...Every elder person should have a cane like this!
