Comments about Terry Liberator Y Gel Saddle - Men's:
I have a Raleigh Revinio 3.0 road bike and decided to purchase a more comfortable seat for a 50 mile ride we had planned in replacement of my stock seat. I chose the Terry Liberator Y Gel Saddle because of the 5 star rating. 5 miles into the ride, however, I realized I made a huge mistake. This may be a good seat for a hybrid or other bike if you ride in an up-right position but do not even consider it for a road bike.

Comments about Terry Liberator Y Gel Saddle - Men's:
Wore out my Terry Liberator Y Gel and decided to try something else that was a little lighter. Tried 4 saddles that weren't bad, but I wasn't comfortable after 30-40 miles. Ended up going back to the Liberator Y Gel, and very happy. It is heavier than many saddles, but comfort trumps a few ounces.

Comments about Terry Liberator Y Gel Saddle - Men's:
My Scott CR-1 came with a Scott saddle that just didn't do the job. I stiched to a Selle SMP. It was either too narrow or too soct or both. Then I switched to a Selle Max Flite Gel. We never came to terms. Finally, I tried the Liberator Y and, like Goldilocks' porridge, it was just right. Comfortable for long rides and hours in the saddle. A little wider than some and just the right firmness.

Comments about Terry Liberator Y Gel Saddle - Men's:
Good saddle for long rides. The Liberator Y Gel has a smooth cover and does not chafe like the Liberator X, as is mentioned in reviews of that model. The Liberator Y Gel is not light but it is very comfortable and supportive on 100 mile rides and on rough roads. I have a Terry Fly and several other light weight saddles on other bikes step up for performance only. But for touring comfort rather than high performance, the Liberator Gel fits the bill.
