    The Direkt 2 tent is the lightwest weight tent from Mountain Hardwear. The single-wall, internal-pole design is for ultralight, high-altitude alpine climbing.

    • Single end door facilites easy entry/exit for 2; no vestibule saves weight
    • DAC Featherlite® NSL poles utilize unique inserts to create strong, functional poles that save weight and reduce breakage
    • Direkt 2 sets up from the inside; securely attach pole ends at tent corners with snap grommets and secure poles using rip-and-stick attachments
    • Evolution Tension Arch™ technology multiplies structural aspects of the tent skeleton without adding poles or heavy wall fabric
    • Stiff but lightweight fabric spreads the load-bearing capability of the poles over a wide surface area; ribbed wall fabric adds strength while remaining lightweight
    • Zippered mesh vent with integrated stormflap allows ventilation while keeping the weather out
    • Welded zipper construction saves weight and because there's no thread to pick up moisture; it remains dry
    • Reflective guyout loops, starter points and zipper pulls enhance nighttime setup and visibility

    Don't be fooled, this tent is by no means multi-purpose. If you're condensation-conscious, and willing to sacrifice features for a minimalist, ULTRA weight/space efficient shelter, the Direkt2 cannot be beat. Fits 2 average size people and very little gear, but takes up about the same amount of space in my pack as a water bottle!
