After its initial break-in period you might notice your bicycle performing less responsively than the day you brought it home. Not to worry, this is typical of all new bicycles and simply reflects that cables have stretched or their housings have seated themselves into final position. To keep running at peak performance, all REI bicycles come with a FREE warranty tune-up, which should be accomplished between the first 100-200 miles of riding or after the first two months if you're accumulating miles less quickly. Comments about Raleigh Revenio 3.0 Bike - 2012:

After getting tired of constant maintenance on my mountain bike, I got rid of it and decided to go in a different direction for a road bike. I had been carefully shopping around for about a month for a good entry level bike with adequate components and at a price under $1500.

After much research, I had my heart set on going with the Cannondale Synapse 5 Alloy until I noticed the Raleigh Revenio 3.0 (both at REI) which very much has equal components (mainly Shimano 105 group sets) at about $150 less in price. Raleigh may not be as well known or popular as other brands but it had positive reviews everywhere I looked and friends gave their approval too, so I went ahead and purchased it. I'm still adjusting to switching over from a mountain bike, but I must say I am quite happy with my decision with no regrets thus far. Everything on this bike is smooth and works well. The blue accent colors give it unique look too.

I used the money I saved to buy a helmet and upgrade the pedals (replaced the clips that came with it for Crankbrothers Candy 2 so I could keep using my mountain bike shoes) and I still had $ left over. Coming from a beginner cyclist who did his homework, the Revenio 3.0 is a great deal for those in my shoes.

I have the 2011 version of this bike matte black and green sharp look and unique all blacked out it gets looks even at LBS . Down and dirty on this bike when comparing it with other bikes in its range it is a great deal it is responsive , has quality components and is comfortable for long rides , i recently purchased a 2009 supercourse carbon fiber new from LBS swapped all out for dura ace and ultegra with a set of ksyrium wheels though it is a faster ride for my lang hauls that i am not trying to race anyone and i want a good workout and good training i still take out my revenio 3 i would recommend this bike
