Comments about REI Hobitat 6 Tent - Special Buy:

First off, this was the tent I bought for my family of five to car camp in. I was eyeing the Hobitat 4 but my wife said she wanted to have a lot of room. This thing delivers.

I somehow managed to set it up in the living room prior to our first outing, it was dark and I wanted to check it out before we got to the campsite, so I pitched it in the house. We can barely walk around it. It sets up without much fuss, I had my 14 year old son give me a hand, it could probably be set up by one person though. The rain fly covers the entire side of the tent. Huge doors on both sides will probably offer quite a bit of airflow. There is enough room for me to stand up and I'm 5'11".

Since this is a car camping tent, we will be in parks with large, flat tent areas thankfully, finding a spot to set this big boy up in the woods would be a problem.

The bag that it packs up in is large and has several different compartments for the tent, rain fly, poles, footprint, stakes, and guy lines. Definitely a plus in my book.

All and all I am very satisfied with the purchase.
