Comments about Therm-a-Rest NeoAir XLite Sleeping Pad - Women's:
this 2.5 inch thick air mattress can take getting used to if you have spent many years on closed cell foam. the potato chip sounds you hear when lying on it in the store are inaudible when in your bag, esp. if you have a small pillow.
it is comfortable for me as a back and side sleeper. i really appreciated the ease of in/deflating and ability to get it back in the sack.
it packs up incredibly small, and that is the main draw point for me. however, i do feel that i have to be very, very careful with it to avoid damage.
for times i need tiny, this is the one. i used my 20% discount and dividend to reduce the cost.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest NeoAir XLite Sleeping Pad - Women's:
While I love camping, I have a tough time sleeping comfortably. I have tried a dozen inflatables and foam pads trying to get the best sleep. This latest purchase was my attempt to lighten the load in anticipation of more backpacking adventures. It is definitely lightweight and packs up pretty tiny. Unlike many others, you actually CAN get this one back to its original size easily to fit into the pouch it comes with, room to spare. It has a somewhat "crunchy" sound to it but I didn't find that a problem. I figured it would deflate a little as it cooled down at night, but it held air well. It was comfortable through the night, no real issues. The women's version is small, so don't expect to be rolling around without falling off, but it works just fine. I found myself turning over several times during the night, which is typical, so I won't say I slept any better than with some other pads, but considering how much lighter this one is I would highly recommend for the minimalist. I didn't comment on its durability since I've only used it twice so far but will report back if there are any issues. I also did not test it on a particularly cold night so can't speak for its warmth yet.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest NeoAir XLite Sleeping Pad - Women's:
just spent 2 weeks in New Mexico with this lightweight, compact,2 1/2inch inflated wonder. There are no dips in the middle and you won't feel anything under you. The most comfortable nights sleep this mid 50's mama has ever had on the trail.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest NeoAir XLite Sleeping Pad - Women's:
On one hand this is a great sleeping pad: warm, light, and very cushy. I tried it out for 3 nights on the Olympic coast and it was great. First night out on my second trip, however, and it got a puncture. I was extremely careful with it, even placing it on top of my poncho within the tent. Hopefully it was only a fluke accident...

Comments about Therm-a-Rest NeoAir XLite Sleeping Pad - Women's:
So far I have used this on a 4 day trip at Mt Robson in the Canadian Rockies and temperatures were near freezing at night. It was very comfortable and warm. It packs up very small and is super light. I did inflate the pad manually and saw condensation inside but it did not effect the warmth. I used an air pump at home to inflate the pad a few times at home afterwords to make sure it was dried out before storing.
The pad does make a bit of sound when you roll over but my tent mate and fellow neighbors said the noise was not disturbing. Only problem is if you have the munchies, it does make you think of potatoe chips.
I found this product to be worth the extra cost.
