I bought these to wear during a ten week photo excursion from Oregon to Florida this summer. I honestly can't find a single negative thing to say about these. They are the perfect boot for me in every way, and I have no doubt they're going to do the "Vasque" name proud!

Have been out on a few hikes with these guys and they fit and feel great, would recommend also using a good hiking sock like the REI brand, makes them feel even better. Had no issues with slipping or rubbing around the ankles and have very good traction. Well worth the money.

I often have trouble buying shoes because of narrow (8b) feet. The REI shoe salesman showed me a selection of boots that run a little narrower than most. (they do not have width selection on any of their boots). These fit best then and continue to feel great.

Went into my local REI store looking for a pair of water proof hiking boots. After trying on a couple different brands, none of which fit quite right, the salesperson suggested the Vasque Talus. From the get go they felt great. Wore them around the store for about 30 minutes and decided to give these a try. After eight day hikes and about 60 miles they fit like a glove. The Vasque Perpetuum last does a great job at locking my foot securely in place minimizing any foot movement, i.e., no blisters. They seem to be pretty durable, hardly any tread wear so far, but a little too early to say for sure.

I've always had challenges finding a great pair of hiking boots. Size 14... narrow heel/wide forefoot (bunyons)... long toes. While I had found boots which were close, I've never quite found any that were just right.

When it was time for a new pair of hiking boots, I tried on many different models. After exhaustive research and after talking the ear off of every REI sales associate I could find, I finally settled on these.

After a number of day trips and overnight backpacks, I can say that I am thoroughly happy with them. Excellent traction, a nice roomy toebox, good waterproofing, and all day comfort make for a great day on the trail. And after six months, they still look brand new. And as a bonus, the price is better than many of the other models I tried.

Man I love these shoes. I tried out two Merrells, and they were just awful. There was either no support, or they actually made my knees feel awful. I then went back to Vasque, the brand I've been using for years. So good to be home. I walk about an hour every other day, so I need shoes which are actually made for walking. These fit the bill perfectly. I strayed from brand loyalty because the looks weren't very innovative, but now I have things in perspective, and I'm actually happy with the looks of these boots now! I'm so glad Vasque is reliable.
