Comments about Therm-a-Rest 40th Anniversary Edition Sleeping Pad:

Inflates faster than previous models due to, I'm assuming, new foam core design & technology. I appreciate the two inch thickness for more comfort while package & weight specs are the same as the ProLite 4. Greater R-Value makes it warmer & insulates better when sleeping on the ground. I can't find a single con with this new Therm-a-Rest plus it seems to be as durable as all the other pads in the "Fast & Light" series, especially the new NeoAir XLite which, according to reviews, seems to be more puncture prone. This is the main reason I chose the new Therm-a-Rest 40th Anniversary Edition. Makes all the other backpacking self-inflaters almost obsolete!
