Comments about Carve Rae Top - Women's - 2011 Closeout:

Firstly, t his is definitely a casual wear shirt. It is made of a polyester blend and very lightweight and possibly moisture wicking. The shirt is meant to be slouchy (think 80's style off-the-shoulder) and the models in the pictures show the shirt to cling at the waistband. When I checked the sizing chart, it figured me as a large, which made me suspicious considering the slouchy style. My body shape is: broad shoulders, B-cup bust, narrow waist (29-30"), large hips. The reason it pushed me to large was because of my hip size. When the shirt came in, it was like a blanket. It was nowhere NEAR clingy at the hips/waist and just hangs off me. The material is high quality and the V-cut up the side of the sleeve is cute. I would have to layer this with a cami or tank since it is impossible to keep it from slouching off one shoulder.
Although the sizing wasn't quite right, I'm keeping this around because I can still use it as an 80's style top with tank and leggings/tights. Just be very cautious using the generic REI sizing chart and go with your gut ( would normally buy a medium top, so I should have stuck with that).
