This fit easily on my Thule rack (not aero bars). The unit locks on to the roof rack for security and required no tools to attach to my rack.

I fit 3 skis and one snow board on there, though it was a strech. I think there is a limit to the number of skis you can lay on there depending on their thinkness. We fit two skis (not stacked) and a snow board flat on there easily; really wide skis might be an issue.

I am the owner of a 2007 Honda Pilot and I had the Honda rails already on my car. I got this storage system as well as the one that holds two boards upright. Both of the systems fit on my car and make it so I am able to hold a massive amount of gear. They are a breeze to install (I'm only about 5'4" and had no problem doing it myself) and very sturdy so far. The locks are definitely a plus. The only complaint I have is that when they are empty they make a very low buffeting sound that is a little awkward. Granted, this could just be my car. Overall, I love these and they are super useful.
