Comments about Exped Schnozzel Pumpbag:
In spite of hearing it would not work with Therarest pads I went to REI and tried it. The Thermarest nozzle fits very snuggly into the nozzle of the pumpbag and works very well. I blew a Thermarest NeoAir pad up in the store several times and it works great. I actually had better luck with this bag than the actual Thermarest inflator bag. Great product.

Comments about Exped Schnozzel Pumpbag:
I have 4 Exped mattresses. I kayak camp and always carried a Coleman 4D electric pump to inflate them. The Coleman worked fine, but, in addition to the bulk, I always worry about the batteries wearing down on a multi-day trip.
The Schnozzel pump bag solves both problems. It works as shown in the video--2 bags full inflates my new Exped AirMat 7.5 basic pad. The pump bag is made from very light material and therefore packs up very small. By the same token, I don't anticipate using this as a serious dry bag. The material seems too delicate to be loading with gear and jamming into tight spaces. As long as it functions well as a mattress pump, I'm happy.

Comments about Exped Schnozzel Pumpbag:
I've always blown up my mattresses but this is my first pad with down in it and moisture from my breathe is bad for the down over time, so I ordered the schnozzel. This is a very ingenious product, works exactly as advertised, and at 2 oz and doing double-duty as a dry bag for my sleeping bag, is a no brainer to pack. Great product and impressive design.

Comments about Exped Schnozzel Pumpbag:
Great product. Used the pump to inflate my Exped and it exceed my expectations. 3 fills and <3 minutes I was done. I had been avoiding bringing my Exped pad on high attitude trips because of the time to pump and the possible moisture. With this both were solved. Also because of how well it compresses and the water proofing the bag was great for holding my down jacket until I needed it at night.

Comments about Exped Schnozzel Pumpbag:
I had the privilege to use this product as part of a gear review before it came to market and have been waiting patiently for it to appear at REI ever since! I have the Exped UL 7 Short sleeping pad that I bought last year (great pad by the way). Now this pad only takes about 10 breaths to inflate by mouth but when you are at high elevation that can really take a toll on your head. With this inflation bag, it only takes three bag-fulls of air to inflate my pad to max capacity. The large diameter opening and rigid roll top edge allow you to get a decent amount of air into each bag unlike the smaller pillow size inflation bags. Simply open the top and allow the air to fill the bag, roll the top closed to create an airtight seal and push the air into your pad. No more light headed feeling and especially in cold climates, no more moisture in your pad. This is by far the best accessory you can add to your sleeping pad and the best part is, the bag doubles as a waterproof pack liner or hang bag if you are in bear country. At only 2 oz you can't go wrong! Just be aware that this inflation bag will only inflate Exped sleeping pads that have the flat valve system.
