Comments about Deuter Aircontact 65 + 10 Pack:
I had to write a review since several reviewers apparently haven't bothered to figure out how pack works before posting reviews. Either that or they posted reviews for a different pack.
There is no missing rain cover. The raincover on the AirContact 65+10 is integral to the pack and is permanently tethered to it. On the very bottom of the back is a zipper. Open the zipper and out comes the raincover.
Great pack, if slightly on the heavy side. However, it will still be doing hauling duty 15 years from now when most lightweight packs are in landfills. If you're carrying over 40 lbs. for whatever reason, this pack is a great choice. It is exceedingly comfortable.

Comments about Deuter Aircontact 65 + 10 Pack:
Had this pack out on its maiden voyage in Utah for spring break. It was very comfortable with about 25-30 pounds in it. I had room for all of my bedding, shelter, and clothes, along with all of the essential trinkets and more. Very adjustable, took a day to get it where I wanted it, but once there, the next three days were great. I got this one as a gift. Admittedly I am a tight-wad with my money and probably would not have purchased it for my self. However, my wife got it for me as a Christmas present, and it was worth every penny, plus a couple more. Very roomy, comfortable pack. I would recommend it to anyone.
Only downside in my opinion is the weight of the pack. That said, this baby makes up for the extra weight in carrying capacity, durability, and comfort (thus I take no stars for this). If ever I needed another pack, I would buy this one again my self.

Comments about Deuter Aircontact 65 + 10 Pack:
Nice bag that I got on sale plus a coupon (always wait for sales). I travel light but the size of this allows for bulk and I appreciate that. I really appreciate the suspension system as it rides well on my hips with very little weight on my shoulders and it balances really well. I like the narrowness of the bag as it keeps me from getting caught up on bushes and branches along the trail and the hydration compartment held my 3 liter bladder well. My only reason for four stars is that I had to buy a rain cover because it didn't come with it; kind of a cheap trick.

Comments about Deuter Aircontact 65 + 10 Pack:
I have used this pack many times over the past 3 years. I am always pleased with the comfort that this pack provides. I have no aches, pains or other issues from the pack, just those from my advancing age. This pack has been a godsend for me to get back into backpacking after taking off for 25 years. The small waist pocket is of limited use, but perfectly fits my digital camera.
The pack is widely adjustable and I find I can really cinch the load tight to my body for traversing rough terrain. The capacity, layout and access is very good. I wish the top cover was detachable for peak bagging.

Comments about Deuter Aircontact 65 + 10 Pack:
Great pack. Very comfortable. Used over a 5 day trip over rough Terrain. Pack was very comfortable and easy to use. The pocket on the waist belt is pretty much worthless and would be better served by a water bottle holder.
The internal bladder, once filled, tend to take up some space. The bottle pockets are large but very hard to get to.
I will continue to use this pack and am very happy with it. Be aware, I did not receive any free items with this pack and there is no detachable pack cover included.
Service and delivery comments:
Did not receive a free product or pack cover when I bought this pack.
