Comments about Vibram FiveFingers SeeYa Running Shoes - Women's:
Excellent Product made by Vibram. This shoe is intended for those that have done a fair amount of barefoot-style running already, as this is a really thin and packable style of their shoes. Excellent ground-feel is achieved with this model, and I love running in these, as wear them to the gym as well for my cross-fit style workouts.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers SeeYa Running Shoes - Women's:
I was convinced by a friend to go out and by myself some Five-Fingers. Back in 2006 I had an extra bone removed from my foot and it caused all sorts of chaos for years to come. After two different sets of custom orthotics and countless pairs of super-duper cushioned shoes I hurt after every run. I was willing to try anything at this point to stop the pain after a run.
~~~ Enter my new Five-Fingers! This particular pair fits amazing! I do not have a wide foot but I do not have an average foot... I am in that lovely in-between area. This shoe fits like a glove so perhaps that is why I do not get blisters while other women have? The tread works well for wearing to work or running on the treadmill at the gym. It has been too snowy out to try them on any trails around town but I will most likely get a better suited pair for that when the time comes.
I highly recommend these shoes to all women in that "in-between" foot size of not a wide but not an average.
Comments about Vibram FiveFingers SeeYa Running Shoes - Women's:
I have been wearing the five-fingers for two years now for running anywhere from 4 to 15 miles. The only thing I like about the See Yas is the comfort and light weight. I got blisters on both sides of my feet after running about 1.5 miles. I had to take them off and run home barefoot. They feel like they are going to fall off and the heel is too low which contributes to that feeling. I plan on returning them as I want them for running and they do not fit my needs. I love the Bikila and the Bikila LS and also was happy with the Speeds.
Comments about Vibram FiveFingers SeeYa Running Shoes - Women's:
I know Vibram makes lots of styles of Five Fingers for all kinds of purposes, but these are my all around favorite to do anything in out of the four pairs I've owned. They're the best I've tried for running, but they're so lightweight and easy to get on (compared with a higher cuffed style like the KSOs) I use them for everything from gym workouts to easy trail walks to running errands. The sole is much thinner than some of the other VFF styles out there, which makes the barefoot connectedness feeling much stronger, but at the same time offers the same protection from glass, rocks and other nasties on the ground. I wouldn't take these out hiking like I would my Treksports, though--the sole just isn't made with that kind of traction.
Comments about Vibram FiveFingers SeeYa Running Shoes - Women's:
I have run in VFF's for almost 2 years. Love the lightness of the Seeya and the barefoot feel. Short runs were just fine. First 20K run my heels chafed. Post run I had blisters on both heels that had formed, popped, and bled. Figured I was past point of return so I tried moleskin/bandaids / etc. Finally using blister pak bandaids on my heels (2 per heel) I was ok to run in the Seeya. I ran a half marathon. Heels were fine (in blister bandaids) but my baby toe on one foot blistered from the tip to the bottom of the toe badly. I am going to try washing these to see if that helps but otherwise it looks like these will be simply wasted money. Google VFF Seeya and you read great reviews. Google VFF Seeya Blister and you find out many people are having issues with these shoes.
I still love VFF's but just can't recommend these
Comments about Vibram FiveFingers SeeYa Running Shoes - Women's:
These vibrams are great! The sizing is much more precise than the Bikila, and they are MUCH lighter. These blow the Bikila model out of the water! They truly do fit like a glove. Although I owned the Bikila for some time, my feet never felt quite right in them-- like they were bulky and clumsy. My feet are fairly narrow, and my toes are perhaps slightly shorter than average. I downsized to a 38 for this model (my street shoe size is a women's 8.5). This footwear makes me feel as if there is just a thin, protective layer between me and the earth-- I absolutely love it! Although I never necessarily loved the look of the fivefingers, I do appreciate the fun, neon colors the seeya offers!
Comments about Vibram FiveFingers SeeYa Running Shoes - Women's:
I have several pair of VFFs and love them. I find my Bikilas are still better for the treadmill, but the Seeyas are great for everything else. I use them for running errands, doing day-to-day things, and just relaxing. They are lightweight, cool in the warm weather, breathable, and over all incredibly comfortable - they literally make you feel like you are barefoot with sole protection. I have a bad back and am flat footed and these really help keep my back stable and comfortable even standing, vacuuming, carrying groceries, etc.
Comments about Vibram FiveFingers SeeYa Running Shoes - Women's:
I got these as my first set of "five fingers" and so far they are fabulous! They fit like a glove and I have had no knee pain running in these at all (it really does 'make' me run more properly because I feel more of how my feet hit the pavement). I did have to get a 1/4 size smaller than the original size I tried (I measured bigger but it gave me a blister on my heel), but REI was great at exchanging them! I'm concerned they may wear out quickly, but I will buy another set when they do. I've really enjoyed them.
Comments about Vibram FiveFingers SeeYa Running Shoes - Women's:
My year-and-a-half old Bikilas finally wore out, so I thought I'd give the See-yas a try. I do notice a difference in the weight (they're something like half the weight), and I do not notice a difference in padding, which is good. (Since purchase, I've run about 35 miles in them.) I can feel that there is less of a structure to the soles, but it doesn't bother me-- actually I kind of like it.
My only problem with these vs. Vibram's other running model, Bikilas, is the cushioning on the heel. On the Bikilas, it's one solid piece of fabric. Here, as you can see in the picture, there's a strip of fake leather going down the middle of the heel. I've only run in these one day without socks, and the day I went without socks, I got some nasty chafing. I haven't decided whether I'm going to return these over that issue, as summer is approaching and it would be nice to run without socks, but it is kind of obnoxious. If I do return them, I'll go back to the Bikilas.
Also, another important disclaimer, which should be at the bottom of every Vibram review: if you're not used to running in Vibrams, please read up on easing into it.
