I ride in all kinds of weather in Washington State where it rains!
These shoe covers look good, fit tightly over shoes but ARE NOT WATER PROOF. If anything they attract and hold water like a sponge.

I will be surprised if this review makes it thru editing by the manufacture or REI sales reps.
