      Normally I would not have paid so much, or needed shoes of this quality, but I was recently out of a foot cast (due to broken bone) and heading to the beach. My foot was feeling much better but still not ready for prime time. These shoes provided firm support without getting in the way. They seem like they will last, though the Vibram soles seem to be showing some wear after a week in the sun and fun. I have a few pairs of cheap "swim shoes" but these are better than some of my street shoes.
