THERMOLITE® Quallofil synthetic insulation offers minimal bulkiness and excellent packability, yet provides warmth even when wet
Ripstop nylon shell features a Durable Water Repellent finish that causes moisture to bead up and roll off; soft cotton/polyester lining resists stains
Underside insulation has been eliminated and replaced with a sleeve for one 78 x 50 in. pad or two 78 x 25 in. pads (sold separately)

Just got back from a car camping trip with the wife where we used our new Dream Island for the first time. The temps were in the low 40s at night, and we had no problem staying warm. In fact, one evening we got hot and had to move apart a bit, and the bag had plenty of room to accommodate that.

We used the bag with an Alps Mountaineering 3" double-wide pad, which fit the bag's sleeve perfectly. We both agreed we'd never had a more comfortable nig's sleep while camping. Much better than zipping two one-man bags together.

Note that Big Agnes has other double-wide bags that are smaller and lighter (which are more expensive). This one if definitely for the car camper, although its packed size is much smaller than I was expecting

I have been zipping sleeping bags together for years camping with my wife, and was never happy with the results.

We've only used the big agnes bag once, but were very pleased with the roomy-ness and warmth. I was a bit skeptical of the "no fill" bottom, but the sleeves to hold our sleeping pads (2 exped sim comfort 5 DLX pads fit perfectly) worked very, very well. No slipping on and off the pads and no heat loss or draft you usually get from zipping standard bags together.

The design is great and the bag seems to be of very high quality.

Nice product! We have not camped with it yet, but did sleep in it in the living room and it was roomy and comfy. Lots of nice features - pillow pouch, hood, etc. Big sleeve for generic air mattress. Can't wait to camp in it!

Just spent three night's sleeping in this terrific bag with my girlfriend. OK, fine, I stuffed two 2.5 inch sleeping pads in the pockets below the bag and placed that concoction on a firm foam bed in my motorhome. But it was as comfortable as my very expensive home mattress. The plumbing in the motorhome froze solid but we were warm and cozy. Lots of room for two (I'm 6'-2"). It's really a well conceived and executed design. Job well done Big Agness!
