I was looking for some lightweight travel pants. These fit the bill. I like that they sit low on the waist. The cut is flattering. I am 5'4" and 155. I bought size 12 petite. I plan on taking these with me to SE Asia in a few weeks.

I wanted a pant that would shorten up -- without the hassle of the zip off kind. These are great for that -- they shorten to capri length and are loose enough in the leg to be really cool and comfortable. They also work well as sun-protection pants.

Soft and comfortable material. Nicer material than the REI Poplar roll-up pants. As another reviewer stated, these pants look a lot better than in the photo.

Only thing is that the pockets are made of mesh, which I expect might be the first part to rip due to keys getting stuck in the mesh.

I love the concept of these pants...great material, nice pockets, ability to convert them to capris, SPF 30. These literally have everything I was looking for in a pant for hiking/climbing in Colorado.

With all the positives, I was really disappointed that the sizing is so horrible. No matter what size I tried on, the waist was huge. They would feel and look fine from the front, but in the back there was a 2-3 inch gap around the waist. I tried a range of sizes from 6-14, I normally wear a 10. Don't bother with these. Crazy.

This pant material feels as it was advertised. The only downside of it is the sizing chart. I ordered a size 12 which is supposed to come with a waist of 30.5. I measured the size 12 I received and the waist is a 39. The length was as advertised. Of course I could not wear them because they were just too big.

These pants have all the features I was looking for in a new pair of hiking/travel pants, and looked great in person (much better than the product photo). The cargo pockets are a nice size, they are a good length when rolled up, and the material seems sturdy.

However, the size 2 was falling off my hips. The cut seemed good, so the next size down would have probably worked, if there WAS a next size down. For comparison, I'm a size 2 in most REI pants, and a 2 or a 4 in Mountain Hardwear, TNF, etc. I checked ExOfficio's website in hopes that they were hiding some size zeros somewhere and according to their own size chart I should wear a 4 petite. Those charts rarely seem to be accurate, but I still wouldn't have expected the 2 to be huge. I wish they'd re-examine their pattern grading or start making size 0

I purchased these pants for travel. They are wonderful! They pack well and are extremely comfortable! They also are cut nicely - no bulkiness or odd gaps. I could have worn them the entire trip!
