by Metalsmith GeorgefromWarm when wetI bought this bag for a float trip in Alaska because of the possibility of rain. It rained for three days... everything was wet, tent, shoes... but I was toasty warm in this bag. Definitely helped make the trip enjoyable. A bit heavy and bulky, but not a deal breaker considering the fairly low price.

by DC in GAfromFit for a large manMy principal concern was the fit. I am just over 6'5" tall, 260 pounds and with broad shoulders. I ordered the large/long version of this bag and the fit seems to be just what I needed. There is room for my feet and I am not poured into it. I sleep on my side and it seems to give me the room I need if I move around in the night. The quality is fine but as with any bag I am careful with the zipper.

by Bubba the hikerfromFinially found one that fitsI only gave it a four stars at this time because I have not tested it out in the field in cold weather yet. I purchased this both for emergency purposes but also to enjoy an occasional hike, I tried both the standard size 62 inch bag and a 66 inch girth but they were way too tight and I could not move and the material was streched tight on the 62 inch. What is odd is my girth(SHOULDERS) measured only 54 inches so why I could not fit in the other bags exscapes me. This bag seems to be made well but I have yet to test it, but just trying it out on the living room floor I started to overheat fast. As soon as I test this one out I will add to this review. where I live is very wet so I needed a synthic bag, this was the biggist for it'S price range. For it's size it does pack into a fairly small stuff sack that is supplied. At 4 pounds it is a little heavy'er then I was hoping for but beggers my size can't be too choos'e, I'm 6'3" and 225 pounds and no my gut(stomach) is not bigger then my chest......yet!

by Glamper girlfromGreat bagSo far I've only used this sleeping bag for a weekend camping trip, but it kept me nice and toasty, was comfortable, and easy to pack. I love that it comes with a stuff sack that has compression straps so you can really cram it down. I'm not a fan of mummy bags (too claustrophobic!), but this one is really like a mummy-more bag. It's wide enough at the bottom so my legs don't feel bound. I doubt I'll really use the hood part since I prefer to sleep on my stomach or side, but it worked perfectly to keep my pillow in place. Looking forward to using this bag for years to come.
