We go camping with this bag all the time. We bought two of the same style 3 years ago and bought two more recently for our growing family. Kids sleep very well in it and I sleep great. I love that it is comfortable and soft - and it keeps me warm. I discovered years ago that while I didn't like the mummy style as I wanted more room for my feet - the other style didn't keep me warm. This one seems roomier than it looks and it keeps me warm and toasty... Coldest we have camped is about 16 degrees. My husband took it to Afghanistan when he deployed and it traveled very well and packed nicely. I am recommending this to a few camping friends who need new bags. It is great for a family who goes Spring - Fall (we have camped all over California, Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina).

I bought this bag for backpacking mainly. The price was great considering all the other bags I was looking at. When I received the bag it was wrapped in plastic with the compression bag attached. (now I know why) So far the bag seems to be very comfortable and warm, I literally almost fell asleep in it within a few minutes when I tried it out at home. I'm 6'2 200 lbs. so I got the long bag and I fit in it very nicely with a little room to move around. the construction and materials used are A+ so far as I can tell. The only reason I gave this bag four stars was because getting it into the compression bag that it came with was a pretty strenuous task. I first tried to roll it up, with no success. I finally decided to cram it into the bag and after several attempts, was able to get it in hood first. I like the bag and am very happy with my purchase just be aware that packing this bag is a chore.

My wife and I each have one of these bags, on a Jan hiking trip with lows in the teens we both stayed warm all night. I really wish I could have given this bag 5 stars but it packs large. Barely fit in the sleeping bag compartment of my Gregory Palisades pack, and would not fit in my wife's Deva pack. A redesign of the stuff sack may help.

I just bought this bag and just came back from a snowy and cold night of camping, with temps starting at around 20+ and going down to 10+. This bag kept me warm and was comfortable to sleep in. I did feel, though, that the shoulder girth was a little small for me, even though I bought the long bag. I tend to toss and turn a and sleep on my side, and sometimes it was a bit tight to move around in. Nevertheless, if you need a cold-weather bag at a low price, and don't mind one that's a bit heavy and bulky, then this is a great choice. I don't know if I'd take it backpacking, but it's great for bicycle and car camping.
