Deuter ACT Trail 32 Pack is rated 4.4444 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great pack for tall people First off, this is a fantastic mid-size pack for people who are tall- I'm 6'6" and this pack fits me beautifully. Props to Deuter for making sure their 'normal' pack sizes will fit tall customers. As a very light packer, I don't want to haul around a bulky 60 or even 45 liter pack on my travels. This pack is simple and functional, which means it's very flexible in terms of what you can do with it. So far I've taken it on a long weekend trip and on a canyoneering day trip. Even without the hip belt and chest strap fastened, the pack moves with your body so that it's a good pack to take with you when hiking or otherwise moving a lot. It carries a lot of gear or clothing very comfortably, and the compression straps work great. Some people have complained about the lack of pockets and organizational options. I just used two packing cubes for clothing and tucked the rest of my gear into the three pockets and a small bag, and had no problem with it. Finally, the pack is very comfortable. I've had to walk miles wearing it before, and it has never been uncomfortable or awkward even on hot days. I would definitely suggest this pack and brand to anyone, but particularly tall people!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Day Pack! Love this pack! Use it for all kind of stuff. Even put a dry sack in the inside once full of H2O so I would have a place to put all the fish I caught that day and was still comfortable. Has a side pocket and a type of helmet pocket on the outside... Could stand to use anoter pocket area. Cant beat the rain fly! Tried alot of day packs and this one fits the bill!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great backpack This is a comfortable and well designed mid sized backpack. Really like the zippered front access, the tool loops, and the variety of external pockets. The backpanel design is nice and comfortable. This pack can be pretty well loaded up with all the necessities, and still have room for the extras. The addition of the raincover is a plus. This pack is great for winter hiking, and is nice for allaround gear hauling on daytrips.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wonderful pack! I bought this pack to replace an aging daypack that's mostly used as an everyday-carry and I have had no complaints. I've used this pack for dayhikes, taking climbing gear out for toproping, though a lot of gear can be a tight fit, and have used it as a travel pack on bus and train. The main pocket is roomy enough for clothing, rain gear, a book or two and a 2 liter bladder pack. The side H2O pocket is deep and I'm never worried a bottle will fall out like on some of my previous packs, the access zipper lets me get easy access to the interior without taking everything out and helps me to pack everything up efficiently, and the compression straps really help tighten things down. I really want to take this pack alpining this winter, I think it will really hold up well. Great product overall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't be happier Upon receiving this pack, I immediately broke it in on a long day trip to the Central Cascades. Having one huge central compartment took a little getting used to, but it couldn't be more logical to use. The interior and somewhat hidden zipper pocket is perfectly designed for keys and wallet, and the front loading zipper to the main compartment is genius. I was not only able to pack everything I needed for the day, including my bulky camera and lens, but it still fit under the plane seat as a carry on. A perfect buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Day Trip Bag Just the right size for an all-day hike. I have a platypus bag the works perfectly in it and I can fit a pretty comfortable lunch. More than enough pockets to store everything you need. If you are a minimalist and want this bag for day-hikes or short hikes, I would recommend a smaller deuter bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pack I use this pack everyday for work and for weekend hiking excursions. It is a great, lightweight pack with a lot more room than it looks. The hidden rain-fly is fantastic. Love this pack, going to look at more of their products.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great travel companion Deceptively "spacious". Comes across as rather small for a 7-8 day trip but it did the job. It's sturdy, straps are well padded. Just wished there were more side pockets and I think it would make this product SUPER!
