        Needed pants for a trip to Spain, Gibraltar and Morocco other than jeans. These were lightweight, packed well and looked dressy yet casual. Good for travel. Quick drying.

          I looked long and hard for travel/outdoor pants that offered a quality fit as I'm shorter and they are typically hard to find in a correct length. They have performed well and while they feel thin I still believe that they are strong.

            These pants are great for my husband who has a very slim build. He also has several of the REI pants, but they are cut much too roomy in the butt and legs for his build so they really just don't look good on him at all. Even though he loved the REI pants for all their travel features, he has found that the Royal Robbins pants are a perfect replacement for traveling in Europe; they have a big zippered pocket on the right front leg, and also back zippered pockets. They are a classy looking, well performing pant for traveling anywhere and can be washed/hung to dry and worn the next day. PLEASE make another color like charcoal or black!!

              I have some of the older Royal Robbins Global Traveler Pants without stretch and always liked them. I love the new update! The new version has stretch which is super comfortable, the zippered pockets are perfect for travel and the fit is better than ever. Can't wait for some more colors to come out.
