I have a difficult time finding pants that fit. I have a very round backside,and muscular thighs, but I do not have wide hips and I have a relatively flat belly. Most pants that fit my thighs are too big in the hips, or have a huge gap at the waist. These pants are flattering, fit well, and cover my rear, without having a high rise. I am thrilled. I wish REI carried the other colors Columbia makes these in, because I plan to get more. I am 5'8" and 160 lbs and the sz 8 is perfect.

I just wore these pants while on a 12.5 mile hike in the Sequoia National Forest. Although it was warm outside and got hotter during the hike, both my top (Kuhl Rumbler) and capris kept me cool and dry. The capris were super comfortable and were stretchy enough for me to climb up and down rocks without hesitation. I only wished they repelled mosquitoes too!
I am 5'1" and 105 lbs, and I got the size 4. Initially I got the size 2, but they were a bit too tight, so I exchanged them.

I was super psyched to get some great quality columbia capris from rei bt unfortunately despite the all around great features of these pants they get narrower in fit at the waist. Maybe it's just me bt they fit awkwardly, im 5"6 135 pounds w/ an athletic build and ordered a size 6; slightly dissapointed since they are great otherwise.

There were many good things about these pants. The material is very light and I liked the pocket and leg drawstring detailing. I am 5'5 1/2" and 118 lb and have worn size 4 Columbia pants before that were quite roomy. These were skin tight ! I wore them for 20-30 min thinking they might stretch a lot but they were still just plain too small. They had to go back. I've ordered a size 6 so we'll see how that goes.

These capris are a great fit and very flattering all around. I'm 5'1", 105lbs, and size 2 fits well on me. It is very lightweight. I love all of the pockets options and the Omni-Shield technology. If this was quick drying and/or moisture-wicking, this would be the best all around capris for everything!
If they carried the twill color in size 2, I would get it also.

These are possibly the most comfortable pants I've ever worn. The fit is excellent, nicely cut without being either baggy or skintight. The wider waistband is just right. They're very lightweight and so soft. Not only that, but they're incredibly flattering! For fit reference, I'm about 5'8" and 125lbs and got these in a 4. Since buying them, they've become my go-to pants for pretty much everything. Great for hiking or just running errands.
