I bought this in-store today on the clearance rack while prep-shopping for the Anniversary Sale. I am already wearing it. And loving it. Right away, you can feel that this is a high-quality item. Nice stitching and details, including sleeves that can cover your hands with a little hole for your thumb so you can stay warm while hiking or riding your bike. The cuffs can roll up to become perfect length for normal use. SMART! Also smart is the longer-than normal length, especially if you're planning on wearing it hiking or under a backpack... it's just long enough to comfortably go under your waist belt (so it won't ride up), but not so long that you look like you're wearing a dress from the teen section. The fabric has a faint check weave - just makes it look classier and less sporty. (Nice for wearing to a restaurant after you've been tromping around.) It's warm without being hot, has very flat kangaroo pockets that miraculously don't make you look pregnant, as some can. It's soft, very light weight, and has a really nicely-sized hood with drawstring that actually stays on your head when the wind is blowing.

WHO DESIGNED THIS?! Give them an award!!! And then give an award to the nut who put this on sale!!! Thank you, pals!

The only thing that was a little strange is that I typically buy a Large (because I'm a little bigger than I should be, not because I'm tall), but the Medium fits me just right. Go figure.
