Its everything I expected from a two person tent that weighs only two pounds, nine ounces with the footprint,stakes,guy lines etc. Its roomy enough for me and my gear if necessary. With the front end entrance it fits in tight spots where level, open ground is scarce and its easy to inflate my sleeping pad inside the tent. As I expected the material for the fly is extremely thin as is the floor, but with the footprint and some care it should hold up fine. As far as being waterproof i've yet to be rained on but with this tents steep sides and Big Agness quality i'm sure it will perform well.[ might rain this weekend, will report if it leaks!] As for the wind I wont be setting it up in the open without staking all the guy lines out but with cover I did not have any problems with just the middle guy lines staked out and there were some pretty good gusts.Did I mention it weighs only two and a half pounds complete?

Handles light snow, sleet and rain very well. As with the other three Big Agnes "2 person" tents I've owned over the past ten years, it's well made, and are really comfortable/spacious for 1 person. Which is fine by me.

Love the weight, but not for use in the wind. I used this tent twice, once on Ingalls/Stuart combo weekend and another on glacier peak. Camping at Ingalls creek in the trees was no issue. I camped at the lower glacier on GP in 5mph winds and noticed the deficiency in the tub. It needs to be a few inches taller to keep the winds from cutting through the tent and hitting you in the face (if you're looking out). We put two inflatables in the tent just fine. Vestibule is big enough for 2 pairs of boots and misc stuff, packs outside covered in trashbags. This tent has its uses probably but only down low camping in forest. Will return it for something with a bit taller tub.

Not normally a fan of the front-entrance tent, I hemmed and hawed for a long time, but ultimately couldn't resist. After testing it out, I'm not sorry. Very easy to set up, extremely light. Reflective guylines and straps are a plus, as are the handy pockets inside. Only two minor cons: 1) it's not 100% freestanding, as you have to guy out the "feet" of the tent, and 2) fully guyed out, you need 13 stakes, but only 11 are included.

Constant rain in Smokies for 20+ hours and not a drop inside; incredibly light - can hold up with one hand and shake out before packing for next night.
