        I really like the way these shorts look and they are very well made. They look like they will stand a lot of abuse and are actually a heavier material than I expected. The problem is the sizing is way off. I ordered a size 30 and they are way too big. I usually wear a 30 or 31. I looked and Mountain Hardwear does make a 28, but REI does not carry it unfortunately. I will be returning these.

        I own a number of MH products that I really like, but I don't see why it is so hard to make clothing consistently the same size across product lines and companies. It seems pretty simple that a 30" waist would measure 30" or if using the metric system the closest equivalent.

          Best shorts I have ever owned! Next to REI's line Nylon shorts these beat them. The stretch technology in these pants make it awesome for climage of rocks, hiking, camping, golfing, etc. The only critique I have for these shorts are the minor wish that they had zip back pockets.
