Comments about ASICS GEL-Kayano 18 Road-Running Shoes - Women's:

I love the new version of the Kayano. The last one that i had was the 17 and that was good, but these are much lighter and they seem to fit much better. I initially thought that the fit was too narrow and tried the 8.5 on as well. After about 30mins at REI, running and jumping, i decided to go with the 8, which is what I had before as well. These shoes are great. i love how much lighter they are compared to the 17. Overall, asics have definitely made an improvement in their shoes. And of course, no blisters after the first run.

I've been a faithful user of the Gel Kayano for years. I run about 10-15 miles a week and also use these shoes for road biking (don't like clipless pedals) and these shoes are great. Even after a 3h bike ride, my socks don't feel sodden with sweat as these shoes are really breathable. The shoes don't show any visible wear and tear but i typically change them about once every 1.5 years. The traction also amazingly, does not wear out. I would definitely recommend the Kayano just because Asics makes such great, durable shoes. Far better than any other brand that I have ever used.
