Comments about Cannondale Flash 29er 1 Bike - 2012:

This bike is an absolute rocket and a blast to ride. Don't opt for the less expensive versions, you'll be kicking yourself. The 2X10 drivetrain is awesome, such a huge improvement over a conventional 3X system. The lefty fork is awesome especially with the pop-up remote lockout. The brakes are phenomenal, strong an easy to modulate. I test rode 15 different 29er hardtails and dual suspension before instantly appreciating the ride quality and speed that this bike has. Cannondale's design of the rear chain stays, "Speed Save" propels this forward like it's been launched. The wheelbase is short, about the same as a 26" bike so it handles quickly. I can't say enough about how much I love it. The only word of caution: don't let your friends ride it. They'll really hate their current bike and moan all the time about how your bike is so much better!

Suggested upgrade: bike is tubeless ready so convert over as soon as you get it to Stan's no tubes and go enjoy the ride.
