    This only stays put on the tent poles if the tent is staked into the ground. If there is any give at all on the tent poles, then this is just a ground cloth that gets all messed up underneath. It's okay, and I wouldn't suspect anything else to work any better. I got this on sale, and would probably not pay full price for it.

      This was our first time using a footprint. We usually just use a good old tarp but after spending a good chunk of $ on the 3p quarter dome we thought the footprint was a good idea. We has some concerns about the sizing being different from the tent floor but it worked out well. If the footprint had the same dimesions as the tent it would have extended beyond the tent flood and caused water to pool under the tent. The foot print worked great, it kept our tent floor dry for our 3 night trip.
