Comments about Mountain Hardwear Canyon Shorts - Men's:

I reviewed the previous version and gave them 5 stars, but almost bumped these down to a 4. Wish i could put 4.5, basically they could be thicker and more durable.

Nothing beats the breathability (GA heat/humidity tested) and other brands just don't make a pair of synthetic (fast drying) shorts that don't come over the knees. Today's "fasion" is ruining the options for shorts out there and the last thing i want while hiking or any time for that matter are shorts that rub the back of my knees, breath poorly, and look like Capri's. Almost every other pair i tried on in store, had a 12 inch inseam. 9 is just about right

I suppose i could go with running shorts, but i can't stand the liners.

I have 4 pair, love them all, one has rips but that was my own fault.

Love the internal belt and simple clasp( wish the REI equivalent had it ). Perfect for backpacking.

Buy it.
