They are nice to have. But when the ski boots came equiped with the foot beds, I didn't expect the battery packs to be so pricey. Work as expected. Recharge fast. And have a long charge time.

Comments about Therm-ic SmartPack ic950 Battery Pack:

Nice product to have combined with the heating elements (sold separately). You don't feel the heat (you do not get overheated) and you do not feel the cold. I feel like I'm barefooted in the summer - perfect.

Has 3 levels of heat, but I only use the lowest one a Alpental (20F) while wearing very thin socks on Lange RS130 boots.

Must have for race boots where the tight fit and thin liner results in cold feet especially while riding the lifts. Just make sure you remove the packs when you actually do your race runs so they do not get damaged/lost by the gates.

The batteries are charging very fast and last long. The batteries were almost full after 3 hours of use.

I'm attaching them to the power strap, and although Ok I'm buying the Power Strap Adapter for a more secure fit as the packs fall when I remove the boot.
