The upright ride of the Cannondale Quick SL 1 bike lets you enjoy the scenery as you're jetting around town. An especially lightweight frame with workhorse components keeps you cruising.

6061 aluminum frame features a carbon fork for a versatile, comfortable ride on everything from jaunts to the store to century-length charity rides
Hydroformed aluminum tube shapes, refined butting and an integrated seat binder shave nearly 200g off the standard Quick frame for an extremely light ride
Frame also features Synapse Active Vibration Elimination (S.A.V.E.) design in seatstays and chainstays to reduce road vibration
Riser handlebar places the rider in a comfortable, upright riding position
Shimano 10-speed drivetrain (30 gears) features 105 cranks, rear derailleur and 12-28 cassette for dependable performance
Cannondale C2 Mini-V linear-pull brakes deliver effective deceleration so you can manage your speed efficiently
Continental Sport Contact tires deliver a smooth ride for urban environs and feature puncture protection below the tread

After its initial break-in period you might notice your bicycle performing less responsively than the day you brought it home. Not to worry, this is typical of all new bicycles and simply reflects that cables have stretched or their housings have seated themselves into final position. To keep running at peak performance, all REI bicycles come with a FREE warranty tune-up, which should be accomplished between the first 100-200 miles of riding or after the first two months if you're accumulating miles less quickly. Contact your nearest REI bike shop for details and an appointment for this important service.
