Overall, the Quick SL 1 is probably a better deal for the money, but this is a great bike! If you're looking at a flat-bar hybrid, nothing else beats this unless you want to pay $3k for the Carbon 1. You can get more for your money for a similarly equipped road bike, but you sacrifice comfort. This is a great compromise for a serious rec rider who likes comfort over a drop-down back killer.
